Masters of Motoring is a pure celebration of automotive heritage. Pairing the history of cars, motorcycles and motorsport alongside contemporary innovation, the show offers something for everyone with a love of two and four wheels on the 7th and 8th June at Castle Combe Circuit and Bowood House, respectively.
From 20th century classics to the latest hypercars, Masters of Motoring will be graced by two judges with a keen eye for only the finest vehicles and engineering – detailer Bradley Scott-Stevens, and celebrated Concours judge Julian Pinkster. Both judges will be casting a keen eye over the collection on Saturday 7th, ready to hand out bespoke prizes for the best in class.
Bradley Scott-Stevens

Bradley commenced his career at Royal Warrant Holders ‘James Purdey & Sons’ in Mayfair, as a time-honoured apprentice Gunsmith, gaining an eye for both intricate detail and perfection.
In 2008 his love of cars enticed him to the newly emerging UK ‘detailing industry’, 17 years and Bradley is in a position to offer a unique level of advice and service to collectors wishing him to care for and enhance their car collection. His skills have let him travel internationally, chaperoning clients cars to Cavillino Classic, Villa d’ Este and The ICE at St Moritz, culminating in ‘Best Ferrari’ at Pebble Beach 2023
Julian Pinkster

Born and educated in the Netherlands, Julian’s enthusiasm for cars was sparked in the early Seventies at a very early age by his grandfather in Dublin who owned a gleaming new Jaguar XJ6 at the time. That sleek silhouette, the sparkle of chrome and the smell of wood and leather was too much to resist, and Julian was lost to the dark side forever!
Having joined the R-REC in 1990 at the age of 16, it didn’t take long for fellow club members to recognise Julian’s passion for and knowledge of classic and exclusive cars, so he soon found himself being consulted on the purchase and sale of collector cars and assisting members in finding the right vehicle(s) to add to their collections. His keen eye for detail has led him to become a Concours judge at several prestigious car events, including the International Concours for the AMOC, the BDC and the R-REC. Starting off freelance, combining it with his full-time jobs in Real Estate Management and Estate Agency, a full-time career in the brokerage of collector cars was inevitable.
With over three decades of experience in the industry and having worked for several well-respected auctioneers, Julian has built a reputation with his clients for providing fair and candid advice on condition, originality and pricing and he is well-placed to help curate collections and offer guidance on the best purchase and sales strategy for clients’ vehicles, whether this be auctions, private treaty sales or off-market sales. Having owned several classic cars over the years himself, the trials and tribulations of ownership are well known to Julian.
Always looking to meet and exceed customer expectations, Julian’s goal is to make sure every client is delivered the expected outcome and at the same time also gets to enjoy the entire experience from start to finish.
