Aston Martin have unveiled a formidable new V12 engine that, they claim, will revolutionise the ultra-luxury landscape.

Aston Martin has committed to upholding its 25-year legacy of V12-powered flagship models by unveiling a technical masterpiece and unparalleled leader in its segment. This vehicle, the marque states, serves as a testament to their outstanding in-house engineering capabilities and stands as a bold champion of pure emotional connection, offering an exhilarating performance for those who appreciate the direct path to an adrenaline-fueled ride.

Boasting 835 horsepower and an impressive 1000Nm of torque, the latest V12 engine reigns supreme in a world of heading to electrification despite the downfalls not yet realised by the decision and policy makers which all the car manufactures, Aston included, to head full steam into an electric future. The product of a complete overhaul, with a focus on enhancing and advancing, this powerhouse refines every aspect of the internal combustion process to deliver unrivaled performance and efficiency.

Some notable features of the updated V12 engine are a reinforced cylinder block and conrods, overhauled cylinder heads with reprofiled camshafts, and improved intake and exhaust ports. The spark plugs have been relocated and higher flowrate fuel injectors have been added to enhance combustion for superior performance and efficiency.

Furthermore, the turbochargers have also been upgraded to higher speed, reduced inertia versions for improved performance and quicker throttle response.

According to Aston Martin Chief Technical Officer, Roberto Fedeli, the V12 engine has always been a symbol of both power and prestige. “…it is also a statement of engineering passion and technical prowess. With 835PS and 1000Nm of torque this unparalleled engine represents nothing less than the dawn of a dazzling new V12 era for Aston Martin.”

The V12 engine, found in Aston Martin’s most exclusive and limited models, is a testament to its commitment towards luxurious sportsmanship. It will be meticulously handcrafted in small quantities on an annual basis.

It will make its first appearance in a new flagship model; sitting at the heart of a true dynamic disruptor that debuts later in 2024 when further technical details will be shared – we look forward to seeing and hearing the results.

As a personal fan of the marque, it is with keen interest to see how they continue to build the brand and vision for the future.
