Sunday 2nd June – Bowood House & Gardens

The venue for such a show is important and I am delighted to be working with the team at Bowood House & Gardens.   Set just 10 miles away from the Castle Combe Circuit which is the home on the Saturday for the Live Action day, we move to this beautiful setting for a Saturday evening private barbecue and then the show on Sunday.

Visitor Opening times & Tickets

For visitors entry is from 10am – 4pm.  If you’ve not got your discounted advanced ticket, you’ll be able to pay cash or card on the gate.  Please note, entry to the show does not include entry to the House & Gardens however, on the day, you can obtain a discount to the House & Gardens by collecting a card as a receipt to receive your discount on entry.

Location

For visitor entry and directions to the event, please use postcode SN11 0LZ and follow road signage to the House & Gardens and you’ll also pick up road signage to the show on route.  Please follow marshalls’ directions when arriving on site.

Exhibitor entry

Exhibitor and trader entry will be via a usually closed entry to the estate called Pillars Lodge (SN11 0NA) and, by prior agreement and arrangement, access can be agreed on the Friday 31st May or Saturday 1st June.  Please contact steve@greatbritishmotorshows.com to discuss any specific needs.

Please note, this is a private road with ditches and trees either side, please observe the 20mph speed limit at all times and respect the people living, working and walking through the estate.

Exhibitor access to the show on Sunday 2nd June -7am-9.30am

Entry for exhibitors and traders will be from Pillars Lodge (SN11 0NA) from 7am until 9.30am.

Exit from the show will be after 3pm which is when the Pillars Lodge will be switched to exit.

What’s included in the VIP Tickets – available for Visitors and Exhibitors to upgrade to

VIP tickets for the event on Sunday at Bowood House & Gardens include parking near to the entry for starters.  The VIP tent is on the lower lawns looking over to the lake and supercars on the lawns in front of the house.

You’ll receive a welcome tea/coffee from our partners Carburettor Coffee with a croissant and then after 12 o’clock, you’ll be able to enjoy an afternoon tea.  Deacons jewellers of Swindon will have a presence and you’ll have a couple of small gifts including a Masters of Motoring bottle of beer from our partners, Monty’s Brewery.

With VIP displays planned for the area closest to the house and the terrace, car clubs and private collectors will be on display cascading down the lawn.

With the front lawns filling with our Masters display from Partners the VIP area will take prime place overlooking the house, lake and the beautiful rare and exotic classic cars and supercars.

Want to exhibit with your club?

Club stands are more than welcome to join the Masters weekend at one or both venues.  If you have 5 or more cars or bikes on display, we’ll be happy to have you on site joining in the show.  You don’t have to have time on track but can be apart of the display for visitors to enjoy.

What is category of cars and bikes for the Masters?

We are celebrating the past, present and future of motoring and have some fantastic examples of historic racing cars, rally cars to classic and modern supercars.  We welcome all ages of classics and modified cars and bikes to the weekend so please use the exhibit link above to join us.

What can I expect to see on the showcase day?

The stunning examples from the Surtees F1, a collection historic rally cars, supercar clubs, the Lotus Drivers Club, displays from our partners, Race Odyssey 1962 Corvette C1, Hilton & Moss Lotus Emira GT4 and Lister Knobbly and a range of privately owned classic and modified cars and bikes from across the ages.  If you’d like to join us to visit or exhibit, follow the links above!
